When: Marquette University Greek Life has a deferred recruitment process, meaning formal recruitment will take place early in the spring semester. Official dates are TBD for Spring 2022 formal recruitment.
What to expect: Formal recruitment is a week-long process in which women will get to interact with members from all six Panhellenic chapters on campus and participate in a mutual selection processes. During this week you will get to learn about the core values and morals of each chapter, and will get a better understanding of the Marquette Greek Society as a whole.
How to start the process: Formal Recruitment is run by Marquette's National Panhellenic Association. In the fall semester the National Panhellenic Council will hold information sessions throughout the fall semester and will put on a Recruitment 101 session the night before the formal recruitment process beings. Informal Recruitment: Continuous Open Bidding (COB)
When: Alpha Chi Omega at Marquette also has a year long process called Continuous Open Bidding. This is an informal process in which women will meet with members, in a more laid back setting, and mutually decide whether Alpha Chi Omega is a good fit.
What to expect: Two or three different meetings with different Alpha Chi Omega sisters. You will get to learn about the values of our chapter, our philanthropic commitments, and about the greater greek community, but in a more intimate meeting.
How to start the process: To learn more about the process, or to begin, please email the Alpha Chi Omega Recruitment Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
